The Season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 2. It is a 40-day period of reflection and practice meant to help us both accompany Jesus on his path to the cross and prepare us for the great, good news of Easter. Historically, the season of Lent is a penitential season, meant to focus and hone our hearts through spiritual practices that raise our awareness and deepen our hearts. Please join us:
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2ND:
- “Ashes on the Go” will be offered in the church parking lot from 7am-9am. Drive up to receive the blessing of Lenten ashes at the start of day.
- Ash Wednesday Service of Worship will be offered at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. This service will include the music of Taize, the service of ashes, and Communion.

I was wondering how long the ash Wednesday service is.
