Mission and Beliefs

The Mission Statement of the Kingston Congregational Church is very simple: We are a Christian Church that supports each person’s spiritual journey through the communal pursuit of worship, learning, and service.

We live with constant awareness that the timeless God of our faith calls us into a new and challenging future of devotion and service, so we seek to open ourselves to discerning God’s word for our present time and for the future God would have for us. And we warmly welcome all who would be with us, traveling companions in the Spirit, as we share the future of God’s kingdom among us.

What to Expect?

Many people who visit a church for the first time do so with some hesitation, but we regard you as our guest and will do our very best to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. We will greet you, answer any questions you may have, and offer any needed directions.

We provide much information about us here on the website, but the best way to get to know us is to talk with us, so we encourage you to strike up conversations with our members, ask about our experience of our church, and generally make yourself at home!
