Global nonprofit Edesia speaks at KCC about ending malnutrition

We are pleased to present the recording of our guest speaker, Holly Gray, from North-Kingstown based non-profit organization Edesia. Invited by our Women’s Fellowship group, Holly shared a video and stories of how this local manufacturer of peanut paste has reached 14 million children in 57 countries! If you missed it, you may now watch the recording on our You Tube channel:

Founded in 2010 by Navyn Salem, a Barrington, RI resident, the company now employs 150 workers, all united in the goal to end malnutrition in the world’s most vulnerable children. The product provides vital nutrients to allow their bodies to grow their fullest potential, despite extreme poverty and unstable conditions in their developing countries. The organization operates through humanitarian aid, corporate partnerships and donations.

If you are inspired to make a donation, there are envelopes on the table in Fellowship Hall through October, or donate thru their website, www.Edesianutrition.org.
