SCRIPTURE READING: Romans 6:3-11
In Christian baptism we are invited to share in Jesus’ death and resurrection. Baptism, especially as it was originally practiced with full immersion, is a symbolic death and rebirth. We tend to emphasize the latter and not the former. But surely there are something in us and in our world we need to let die in order for new life to arise. Jesus says we have to lose our life to find it. Let’s reflect on this paradoxical promise.
This Sunday, Rev. Jan Gregory-Charpentier, Gideon Lyngdoh, Michelle Girasole, Enrico Garzilli & the KCC choir and others led our Sunday worship. Read/print the sermon here.
