SCRIPTURE READING: Mark 1:1-11
Each year on this second Sunday of January, Christians around the world retell the story of Jesus’ baptism and the blessing of God over him as he began his ministry, and celebrate our own sacramental affirmation and calling. This Sunday we will renew our baptisms with water and the Word.
