The Board of Missions and Social Justice organized a team of eight volunteers from Kingston Congregational Church who picked up paint brushes to assist in the renovation of a Habitat for Humanity home in Westerly, RI. (See photos below)
This note of thanks from director Caroline Crane:
“Hi Kingston Congregational Church Volunteers,
Thank you for your support of South County Habitat for Humanity. We had a great time building with such a wonderful group on Saturday. With volunteers like you, we have a chance to make this world a better place. Thank you again for all your hard work. It makes all the difference!
If you (or others) are interested in volunteering as an individual with us, we would love to have you back on the build site. We build every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please sign up to build with us through this link: https://events.civicchamps.
KCC also supported the Faith Build Yard Sale and Bake Sale on Saturday, Oct. 23 at Wakefield Baptist Church, purchasing baked good items for our coffee hour.
